I’m in my mid-30s, say “dude” unironically, and maintain a healthy level of existential dread. I’m a recovering academic and a dogshit chess player (a “patzer,” if you will).

To relax, I play D&D, lift weights, and drink fancy teas while listening to jazz LPs.

Likes:

Speculative fiction, lapsang suochong, the NBA, abstract art, and a really good view.

Dislikes:

Saturated fats, misinformation, social media, and people who don’t tip servers.

Future plans:

I live with my partner Micah in Ashland, Oregon. When we’re not working, we like biking, gardening, and entertaining our cat Party Dog (“PD”), whom we took in as a stray.

We recently bought a house and are exploring all the joys of homeownership. So far, it seems to be heavy on appliance repair, yardwork, and bills.

I’m the Creative Director at a financial services marketing agency. I’m comfortable directing content, strategy, and creative teams. But fear not–I still spend plenty of time in the trenches.

Core:

Copywriting, copyediting, demand generation, SEO, content strategy.

Emerging:

Design, branding, paid social, ABM.

Caveats:

I work full time and value my evenings and weekends, so I accept projects only if they pay well, serve a mission I believe in, or sound fun.
